Japan Festival

I was lucky enough to be able to go to the local Japan fest this year! It was great. There was a lot of great cheap merchandise along with good food, and everyone was dressed fun. There was also pachinko!

First Fridays

Around the end of summer I went to First Fridays in Downtown Kansas City. I was lucky enough to see some pretty neat stuff! Sadly I didn't get too many good pictures, but these give a pretty good idea of all I did and the whole vibe. Kansas City is pretty great about having a variety of stuff people have made! The whole trip was pretty inspiring.

The personal blogger.

Being a personal blogger is hard. That's not a whine, it's just a fact. I'm not just saying this for myself; others feel the burn too. I don't think it's because of any lack of subject or popularity, but rather that when you blog about your life, it isn't like blogging about some of the latest news. It's....well, personal. You don't like what's going on in the world right now? Okay, fine. You don't like the way I live my life? That's...a little harder to take in.

Lola from 2 Pixel

Hello! This is my first and probably not only post regarding a creative person I admire. I like to jump around a lot on the internet, and I come across some really interesting and talented people sometimes. Lola is one of those people for sure. Her pixel website, 2 PIXEL, is not only great in it's layout but quality in the content. It's a shame that she seems to not be up to date with it anymore. At least it's still here! Here's some facts:

Naka-Kon pictures and a little something I drew.

So spring break was really great! too bad it's over...

Recently, I went to Naka-Kon, this awesome anime convention in my hometown that'd I've been attending since middle school, and since then it's gotten HUGE. There's always something for me to enjoy every year, no matter how my tastes change.

First post!

Haha, wow! So I guess I'm finally getting this blog in order enough to use it properly. I used to be on Jugem, but I think it's better I go here and have a bit more control and can actually read things without Google translate. So uh, hey, I'm Chelsea! And I really, really, like kawaii things. I'm 22 years old. I live in Missouri, and there's really not too much to do here...

Anyway, If you have any questions, please email me so I can get back to you quicker. Of course, I can't dedicate all of my time to this blog but I'll at least respond in a couple days.

You're free to add me on any of the websites linked above, though on Facebook I'm a little bit pickier if I think you're going to spam me or be harmful. But I really doubt that'll happen!

This is going to be my blog, and my personal webpage. I'm going to be talking about and posting a lot of different things, and they may be adult in nature. I certainly don't watch my language, and I may talk about personal issues with a strong opinion. It's okay to not agree, but it's not okay to be rude. If there's a particular thing you want me to warn about in my posts, I can see what's possible if you contact me directly. Please speak up about it! I find the more people who want a change will usually get it. I can't make giant overhauls for just one person, but I don't mind small changes.
